Music and the Deaf (MatD) is a unique national charity which is dedicated to opening up music opportunities for people with any degree of deafness. We believe that our work helps to break down barriers for deaf people and enriches lives.
We are now looking for a part-time Education Projects Manager to join our small team with the principal purpose of strengthening the link between the charity and the education sector. The Education Projects Manager will specifically lead our recently funded West Yorkshire music programme (February 2022 – July 2023) and develop newer initiatives, including structured training courses for teachers and workshop leaders. In addition, fundraising for MatD’s education activities will be a key part of the role. The post holder will also help develop the organisation’s education strategy as we build our business plan for the next five years.
If you have a real interest in the arts, a minimum of three years’ experience of managing education projects and fundraising, are a creative self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude and excellent social skills, then we would like to hear from you.
