Music and the Deaf are seeking two exceptional individuals to join our Board of Trustees!

Music and the Deaf is a unique charity entirely dedicated to providing access and opportunities in music for deaf children, young people and adults. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to get involved in an amazing cause!

Please note: These roles are voluntary and as such there is no salary.

Fundraising Trustee

Music and the Deaf requires an exceptional individual with experience and expertise in fundraising to join its Board of Trustees to assist in developing and diversifying the charity’s income from donations and corporate partnerships.

The successful candidate will be required to attend full Board meetings that occur once every two months on Tuesday afternoons at the offices of Music and the Deaf in Halifax. We are willing to consider outstanding applicants who are able to Skype or conference call if it is not possible for them to attend the meetings in person.

Treasurer

Music and the Deaf requires a Treasurer to assist in overseeing the Charity’s activities and accounts. The successful candidate must have a qualification in accountancy, with exceptional skills in this area, in addition to an enhanced DBS.

The successful candidate will be required to attend full Board meetings that occur once every two months on Tuesday afternoons at the offices of Music and the Deaf in Halifax. We are willing to consider outstanding applicants who are able to Skype or conference call if it is not possible for them to attend the meetings in person.
